The voice of Stereolab, Laetitia Sadier will play an acoustic solo set in the intimate surroundings of Green Note in Camden in what promises to be an enchanting and thought provoking evening.
“she provided the sanguine vocals for Stereolab, arguably one of the most profoundly influential — and deeply underrated — bands of the past 20 years” / Stereogum
“one of the most recognizable voices in all of indie rock” / Worldwide Festival
“an icon … Sadier’s sonic signatures are as stylish and bold as the garments of Chanel or Agnes B” / The Metropolist
“a very sophisticated jazz rock drum and bass intermesh and masterful backing singing” / The Quietus
Stereolab have been on hiatus since the band glibly quipped on their website in 2009 “As we recently made #51 with Emperor Tomato Ketchup in the Amazon 100 Greatest Indie Rock Albums of all Time we feel that our work is done for the moment.”
